Pros

many promises are made of an optimistic outlook

Cons

No vision to grow the business, no strategy, leadership is always in disarray and is poorly organized. Very toxic environment that breeds contempt and back-biting across the practices and divisions.

Pros

I came from Microsoft and I was told that Maureen Data Systems was a good opportunity... But this was a joke. After I joined, the person who referred left because they didn't have product knowledge or real sales systems in place. There are some decent team members.. but they soon leave fast after realizing the company is Disorganized!

Cons

If you work for a large tech company like Dell, Oracle, Meta, Microsoft, Cisco, etc then Don't come to MDS or Maureen Data Systems! They Hire Cheap Labor overseas and just a bunch of Contractors who Hate their Job. They all end up leaving. Lack of Resources: Inadequate resources, including outdated technology, insufficient budget, or lack of necessary software, can severely hinder a Sales Manager's ability to manage the team effectively and achieve sales targets. Unrealistic Targets and Expectations: When management sets overly ambitious sales targets without considering the market conditions, capabilities of the team, or providing necessary support, it can lead to excessive stress and burnout, thereby affecting the overall performance. Poor Leadership and Management: Lack of clear direction, inconsistent communication, and unprofessional behavior from higher management can create a toxic work environment, demotivate the team, and hinder the ability to deliver desired results. Lack of Training and Development Opportunities: A company that does not invest in training and developing its sales staff risks stagnation and lack of growth. As a Sales Manager, the inability to develop and upskill the team can be a major drawback. Ignoring Employee Well-being: Companies that neglect the health and well-being of their employees can suffer from low morale and high turnover. For a Sales Manager, maintaining the health and well-being of the team is critical for sustained performance and success.

Pros

Pay is pretty good if you negotiate well

Cons

Very much like the show Succession, All the kids fighting for power but none of them deserving of it, parents are way too out of touch and doing much more harm than good. They are their own worst enemy which is unfortunate as this company had potential. Lots of internal drama, 90% of the job is dealing with people rather than doing your duties, work/life balance nonexistent. Feel bad for the people still there.
