Pros

buckets are actually kind of cool

Cons

This company does not care about employees. They are thought of and treated no better than objects. Benefits fall well behind that of other organizations. Corporate functions such as HR, Payroll, IT are severely mismanaged and dysfunctional. Systems and processes are not only dated they are discriminatory. Benefits are also terrible, outdated and discriminatory. They have no DEI presence and it shows in how marginalized populations are treated. The plants are by and large almost inhuman in the working conditions. Boiling hot in the summers - with temperatures in some plants over 110 (or more). Lucky plants have recently added fans to some stations. But this is deplorable. People should not have to suffer to earn a living.

Pros

Leadership team was a good group The pay was good Pretty good benefits Plant employees were great

Cons

No infrastructure in equipment (plant machines dated back to WWII-Seriously) and machines were always breaking down No investment in process or technology - everything is done by excel spreadsheet, HR systems suck, payroll systems suck, everything is tracked manually, production monitoring systems suck, it’s like walking back to 1997 and trying to do business. Corporate blames all their problems and mismanagement on the local plant, and expects the plant to fix corporate’s problems, production, bad employee decisions, etc. HR are not only clueless but incompetent - little knowledge of HR or expertise in their field. Note: Emojis are NOT a legitimate annual rating system! Morale is low, the job sucks, everything is manual, people are blamed from problems they do not own, are scapegoated when they leave, and held to impossible and unrealistic goals Owned by a venture capital firm that invests nothing in people, processes, or equipment. They want to squeeze as much money as possible out of the organization. They hire you for a 40 hour a week job which is really a 65+ hour a week job, 52 weeks a year. No work-life balance. Expectations are unrealistic. Manufacturing is expected to consume your life. That’s just the way it is kind of attitude to justify all kinds of personal and professional abuse of all kinds to employees at every level. No Support from Corporate or Corporate HR is Clueless, doesn’t answer messages, doesn’t return emails, no professional development, no support, not even a check in. You’re on your own. Will try to throw you under the bus to save their own butts. Turnover is very, very high and morale is very very low. Should let employees unionize so that they have fair treatment and wages. Cannot pay their employees-SERIOUSLY CANNOT PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES, payroll is not on time, wrong every week or every other week, back wages and issues literally take months to solve. Employees are unpaid all over the country. Complaints everywhere. Not exaggerating. No opportunity for advancement, no professional development, no training or skill building for anyone at any level of the org. No diversity, leadership model is by yelling and bullying tolerated. Knew lots of folks at all levels who wanted to quit due to abuse.

Pros

Taking the time to fully integrate the Bway and Mauser companies into a whole. Creating new roles and positions to make that integration happen. Offering the chance to build and establish your position in new directions. Demonstrated willingness to reinvest in new company initiatives and career development programs at all levels.

Cons

Going through the growing pains of trying to integrate two large companies. Some systems need improvement and it can be a challenge to locate the right person in charge of a function at times.
