Disappointing culture with lack of support during crisis

As a former rigging supervisor, I did not experience any meaningful “pros” during my time with Mazzella / Mazzella Companies. Although some reviews describe the company as having a “family” environment, that was not reflective of my experience. In my observation, those comments were generally made by individuals in management rather than by employees in rigging roles.
Cons
During my time with the company, I experienced a medical emergency that left me unable to speak or advocate for myself. Afterward, I learned that statements were attributed to me “behind MY back” that I did not make, and I was placed in a position of blame without the ability to respond. Discovering this was extremely disappointing and did not reflect the supportive, “family‑oriented” culture described in some reviews.
