Pros
1. Flexible most of the time 2. Individuals are amazing
Cons
1. When you first start everything is good and upper management is willing to bend but then you put your time in and everything changes. When your fed up and put your notice in, that’s when they try to offer more money or anything to get you to stay. 2. Nothing stays in one room. Everyone knows what is going on in your life in a matter of minutes. 3. There are definitely politics in upper management and people will throw you under the bus just to get a head. 2 recently promoted individuals talked crap about their admins and exec admins when they were directors and then they were promoted and all of a sudden better than anyone else below them. These admins both told directors to stay away from certain directors as there is a lot of drama. Surprising the drama ended when they were promoted. Super low class and toxic. 4. Don’t want to pay overtime so managers/ directors get stuck working but when admins are up to work they will offer insane bonuses so they don’t have to work. There is always a budget until admins are on the hook. 5. You do not receive a raise as a staff and management does not see their raise until at least 6 months after its due. 6. If upper management do not want you to advance then you will be written up at that time a promotion is available even if it is 6 months after the incident. 7. Management with behavioral homes do not advance only Management with medical homes only receive promotions.
