Pros

1. NYC office Location(Close to Wall Street) 2. Some Friendly co-workers

Cons

1. The HR team is pathetic. They have a very weak onboarding process and have difficulties in explaining the vision of the company to a new hire. 2. It's a family-owned business that clearly shows some members don't deserve the positions they have. 3. The company culture is miserable and there is hardly any room for growth because employees are treated as slaves rather than looking at ways to enhance their skills. 4.The pay is nowhere close to industry standards although they bag long term federal contracts and brag about it. 5. Health insurance is pathetic. Majority of the folks use a third-party provider because their policy is terrible. 6. Some folks in the senior management are too rigid and are not open to learning new skills which hamper the growth of individuals who work under them.

Pros

The average employee is nice and friendly. They'll tell you early on to get out if you can. Most are seniors so they just want to retire.

Cons

It's just a paycheck. Not a job for out of college kids. All upper management is family only; whether qualified or not (most aren't). You won't be able to afford healthcare. They are condescending. Micro managing is out of control. Dead-end job. CEO "patrols" the floor to make sure you aren't fraternizing - only working. He won't talk to you either. Horrible year end bonus. They don't trust you to work from home, so if it snows, be prepared to use a vacation day if you can't make it into the office. First years only get 5 vacation days. Years 2-10 get 10 days. If you're more than 5 minutes late, better be prepared with a good excuse; traffic doesn't count. The list goes on and on. Save yourself the migraine. Keep looking.

Pros

There is almost no overselling that office location, it's fantastic Your coworkers are great people, most of them just trying to do a good job Decent pay depending on manager and department

Cons

-Politics, holy crap the politics are bad, they want everything to be done within the family's network of friends regardless of whether or not its a bad business decision. -Nepotism, you will see people who have worked there since the company's inception get passed over for promotions for some family member. CEO willingly creates entire departments to provide jobs to family members. -You must punch in and out like you are working at a grocery store, demonstrates no trust. -No training in a highly complex and convoluted product set. -Weird memos about new rules pop up that only seem to apply to certain people. -Benefits are garbage and incredibly expensive 1/3 of my monthly income and I couldn't find a single doctor who took my insurance. -Nothing is done to unify employees, if anything it feels like they want that. -Favoritism towards Jewish people, love jews, hate favoritism. -Paid time off is a joke -Lack of internal communications, all projects are done at the last minute -No internal communications on all levels, - You are expected to work without overtime. -Family business gives family members a superiority complex -Turnover rate is high...for good reasons
