Colleagues were all brilliant and the organisation seemed to respect its employees

Cons

The departments and teams are quite siloed Also the merger between Metropolitan and Thames Valley housing associations that happened in 2018 was still ongoing in IT in 2026 with employees joining in 2025 still being assigned to a legacy organisation. Also within IT I found that upper management were a bottle neck as they were unable or unwilling to delegate decision making responsibility down the chain. opportunities for growth seem to have disapeard
