Cons
Utterly incompetent leadership. It's practically a sitcom watching them change from one poorly understood direction to another, and constantly disregard any expertise or feedback from people outside of their executive staff bubble. Beyond their extreme shortcomings, my experience of the broader team is that they were extraordinarily rude (at times even aggressive), low-performing, and clearly power-hungry. Honestly, I just feel like I was bullied the whole time I was there. Nothing was done to correct issues I raised and documented, and they only got worse and worse. Performance standards are non existent and progression is completely political. Back to back, inefficient meetings with no clear outcomes are the norm. Layoffs are to be expected against that kind of backdrop, but the manner in which they were conducted was truly despicable. A completely remorseless, accountability-free, inhuman message with zero warning in the lead up to the boom. Empathy comes about as naturally to the C-suite as leadership does (which is to say, it doesn't).
