Pros

- People at the company and the vision is the reason I joined! - It’s nice to see that transparency stays past the interview process. - Async ways of life really work with all it’s pros and cons. So long as everyone is doing it across the board. This means no annoying and frequent pinging and time to concentrate on what actually matters.

Cons

- It’s a startup, things can change from one week to another, but at least it’s communicated well. - Growing fast means some growing pains, but the company takes action to prevent the same mistakes happening twice!

Good Learning motivation. Fast support team.

Cons

It is not investing enough in real technical coaches. They depend on a system of entry points for each module so it might happen if you repeated 2 weeks you wait 5 weeks to continue. and you have no access to the system at this time. Sometimes you implement the project requirements without understanding because the resources or the time are not enough.

Microverse Response

A teacher-less environment certainly incentivizes independence and autonomy but balancing it with code reviewer staff is also important. Thank you very much for your feedback!
