      Still has some great people around and their focus on the community is nice.

      Cons

      MPL has lost great people due to not showing appreciation, overworking managers, and their not-so-great communication that starts with library administration.

      Don't let their social media fool you

      Pros

      City health insurance was great, pension was great.

      Cons

      Terrible management. Terrible promotion and raise policies. Most of the librarians aren't actually qualified in their subject area. A lot of drama and gossip. Very little actual librarian work, we were often babysitters or unqualified social workers.
