During my time at Miniso Norwich, I observed and personally experienced repeated unprofessional and bullying behaviour from my direct manager. This included public criticism in front of colleagues and customers, dismissive responses to legitimate requests for adjustments related to health conditions, and inappropriate discussion of private matters with other staff members. There was a consistent lack of support, a failure to follow basic professional procedures such as formal warnings or performance discussions, and an overall environment that felt intimidating and unsafeguarded for staff. I would caution prospective employees to consider that, based on my experience, staff wellbeing may not be adequately protected, and management practices at this location can be inconsistent and at times hostile.

where do i even start. Managers are incompetent. DO NOT apply here if its a zero hour contract. i was hired to work there at a new store that was opening, me and other employees were dismissed after only A WEEK of the store being open, even though the store manager told us there would be a minimum of 3 months before there was a review of how many staff they still needed. Pay rate is minimum wage too. oh and this is the same manager who came in hungover on OPENING DAY (with media and hundreds of customers present) and then left about 3 hours in.
