Pros

Product has the potential to be great if rolled out correctly. co workers are mostly nice. Work life balance is decent. Company has a decent reputation with clients for now. Comfortable place to work

Cons

inexperienced management with no real industry experience to turn things around when clearly, the product is going south. Over hiring leading to lay offs. Promoting the wrong people

Great people, but poor leadership

Pros

- No micromanagement - Opportunities to grow

Cons

- Poor structure: Some team leads and managers oversee just one or two people - Lack of constructive feedback - Poor product decisions. Also there was a lot of turnover in the C-level team in 2023 - Smaller companies with simpler products are thriving, while Mistplay, once a leader, is going through a second round of layoffs, letting go of 25% of staff and cutting costs. Yet, they recently moved to a massive new office and had a big Christmas party in December - No public mention of layoffs in the press or anywhere

It's a trap!

Pros

- Flexible work hours - Learning opportunity

Cons

Where should I start? First of all, just don't waste your time reading through the most recent happy reviews - they are most likely from directors who want to erase the true real feedback of employees. If you are a part of ANY minority (specially women) just run away. This company has an extremely toxic environment, you will see nepotism, gender discrimination and even racism on a daily basis. HR will reply to this review by saying they are doing their best to improve but when you actually speak up about something the only thing you get is exposure and gaslight. Every week someone leaves or gets fired. The product is a mess, the company focused on growing in numbers before investing on structure.
