      Pros

      Seeing and photographing cute babies

      Cons

I was trained by someone there for 3 months and she was super super pushy to new moms with newborns. We were asked to leave the room multiple times with no sale because of pushyness

Great if You're in a Good Location

      Pros

Flexible hours, they supply equipment, get to be around happy families that just welcomed a new member to their family, and money is good as long as you are willing to make the sale.

      Cons

Your income depends largely on the location that you are in. If you are in a low-income area or a low number of births in that hospital than that will impact your sales in a major way. That being said it's up to you to make the sale and you should know the packages well.

Not a place to excel your career

      Pros

At one time this company wise and thriving business that treated their employees with respect. This company has a history that stands over 70 years and was once a leader in the newborn photography business. They had a reputation of excellence and were well respected because of the beautiful work that they provided.

      Cons

The company has gone through multiple significant buyouts. They laid off all of their sales stand and move to an internet based sales business before covid. Their photographers in the hospital are not trained well enough to be successful in the long term and they are paid straight commission. While this may work for some the employee that they want is a housewife who just needs to make extra money for her family but who they get are single moms who need to support their household so the turnover is significant. Management and company leadership focus more on the bottom line then the welfare of their employees. The company was once a great company to work for one that valued team building and competition amongst the internal staff but has changed to one that does not give to their employees in the same way. This greatly impacted employee motivation and led to massive turnover within departments that had not experienced a lot of turnover. The company turned over their entire recruitment staff in less than a year and hired on people who were inexperienced or had no knowledge of recruitment practices, hiring practices or proper onboarding to allow the company to rebuild. If looking for employment with this company don't plan to stay here long term as it is not a great place to set up your roots.
