Former Employee - Human Resources Manager

I worked at Monash University full-time

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, some good people

    Cons

Working for HR is terrible. Big culture of favouritism, some managers have no understanding of what their own employees actually do, mid-tier managers erase all the attempts for culture improvement, too much red tape. They care too much about keeping long-term staff placated and ignore innovative ideas coming from new staff
