I have been working at Mount Anvil full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Mount Anvil truly believes in high responsibility/hybrid roles - no role is ever dull or slow. This is good because it teaches you how to think like an owner and raise the bar. A lot to learn on a daily basis with multitude of challenges and exciting projects. The Exec team is available to everyone and your voice is heard. It's a two way street with discussions and not one way (down). I would recommend anyone to joint this company to learn fast, grow, and develop multiple skills.

    Cons

A lot of time wasted in meetings talking about work to be done. Frequently, we hold meetings to prepare for meetings. This barely gives us any time during working hours to get actual work done. An aspirational goal is good in theory, however, in practice it leads to unrealistic goals to the point that employees work themselves till the end of the night.

    Pros

The Companies core Values - Work Collaboratively, outstanding Do The Right Thing, Raise The Bar and each one is lived and breathed each day b us all from the higher management down. All at Mount Anvil are full of pride in creating outstanding homes for thousands of families to live, grow and flourish this only brings joy and a sense of accomplishment. The Leadership is open, Transparent and Listen. They treat people decently. They look after everyone within the Mount Anvil Family which has been proven right now in these very tough and uncertain times, While some can work from home others are not so fortunate and many have resulted in being put onto Furlough but are still getting 100% salary, a clear example of looking after our people. Fantastic career opportunities. In one word would i recommend Mount Anvil as a career choice or place to work - Absolutely. the length of service of so many people within Mount Anvil (yes including myself) speaks volumes. Team mates. We have 1st Class H&S. They encourage personal growth.

    Cons

Work is only based in London

    Pros

Working with Mount Anvil is great. There is always a great atmosphere across the business and staff engagement is really high. The business creates an excellent environment to thrive and really treats their employees well. (Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic). This is a place that I regularly recommend working.

    Cons

There are no cons to working at Mount Anvil that you won’t find working for any company within the construction industry.

I have been working at Mount Anvil full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great management team. From CEO to directors are very kind and supportive. The job are challenging, but they can see you effort and constantly encourage you and also shows great respect to each individual staff. I also impressed by management team are very open and honest to us, from company's financial status, decisions to stratergy. None of my previous company will tell us by the end of the year how much is our company's yearly profit and how much money the company hold in the bank. They also care about people. Very caring environment where you can feel like a family and people treat each other equally and respectfully. I also very impressed about how much they care about customer and the quality of home the company is building. Not like some company's always talking about profit.

    Cons

Can't think any at the moment

I have been working at Mount Anvil full-time

    Pros

People are empowered to do what they believe is in the best interest of the company. There are not numerous processes and procedures to follow, it’s about trust and doing the right thing.

    Cons

As there are typically around six large construction projects running at any one time in different locations across London, sometimes it difficult to embed the culture across the project offices as much as we would like. This is something we continue to strive to improve with lots of clear communication across the teams.

I have been working at Mount Anvil full-time

    Pros

Open and honest style with daily emails during coronavirus to the whole company explaining decision-making and strategy to care for people and protect the business for the long term. Culture and people are very important - learning and feedback culture, very clear on what's expected of teammates and managers. Approachable people right the way through the organisation. Homes we build are something to be proud of.

    Cons

Pace is high and expectations are high - not a place that anyone comes to coast! A good thing if you are driven and want to improve and take responsibility.
