It used to have an essence of authenticity, but then incompetence, favoritism, double-standards took over
Pros
- The Workplace is neat, spacious, and authentic - The Founder of the company tries hard to do gestures to make the staff feel at home, sometimes it used to work.
Cons
- The C-Suite is for the most part holding their positions because they are in the company for a long time, not based on skills - Lack of Competency on senior management level makes the evaluation process so vague and you could be the Messi of your function and spend years with the company but because they are feeling threatened, they would rather hire a MR/s YES and get them elevated so fast - Environment in recent years is so pretentious, it lost the authenticity of previous years - Growth is only a term used in annual meetings, but it didn't even cross the evaluation process - HR is an overstaffed department, the good ones give up and leave, the incompetent ones stay and all they care about is to please the senior management and keep their jobs - THE BEST CALIBERS LEAVE. - There is ZERO alignment between the different departments, the company is the most silo-oriented environment, I've come across in my 17 years career. - The worst part of all, is lack of transparency and SEVERE favoritism, there is always that group of (Hail the king) masters who are in the lights and not because they are good - mostly - but because they just know how to hypocritize their way into the ladder. IN particular this is crystal clear in the most over-staffed marketing team in the history of MARKETING & TEAMS!
