Pros
Freedom to achieve goals, good salaries, close working teams at "shop floor" levels. If you're a self motivator then you can really drive forward in your role (to a point).
Cons
Poor management. Far too much bottom line focus. Lack of reward or recognition in forms other than financial. Little career progression, even if you do drive forward.
