Pros

Large opportunities to make a cross functional impact. Being a smaller company allows you to influence some business decisions and improve technology. When the right project arrives it can be very fast paced and exciting

Cons

Monolithic applications... Management fails to react to employees No structured development lifecycle No accountability Game of telephone can take place making communication poor.

It was a decent place to work, until they started having financial difficulties - unpaid vendors, unable to get even basic things to complete projects

Cons

Massive RIF (75%) with no notice, the week before Thanksgiving. Some investment they were trying ot line up fell through - no surprise with the mountains of tech debt, obsolete systems, and complete lack of focus by upper management on which products to sell. Add amateurish contract writing to the list and you get slow or no payments from customers. A complete recipe for disaster. RIP Mutualink

Cons

The company culture is dysfunctional on every level. A group of investors (board) are heavily involved in daily operations from micromanaging the leadership team to attending routine employee meetings. The culture among the employees is equally dysfunctional.
