New owners fired all of the experienced staff and management. The previous business owner required that every employee had at least volunteered at an animal rescue shelter/clinic. Now, with the new owners, they hired inexperienced young employees who never even volunteered at an animal rescue. My Three Dogs is a totally different business now, with the lack of experience comes dangerous situations for humans and dogs. There were never any injuries until the new owners(East Shore Athletic Club) bought out the place a few years ago, from then on there have been at least 3 dogs that have died and 4 employees who were severely injured. No medical insurance means everyone has to pay out of pocket. No room for advancement. Boarding area is extremely small, all dogs are crated with no water. All big dogs HAVE to stay outdoors the entire day no matter the temperatures and breed of dogs. The new owners do not want the inside of the building the get dirty. The big dog outdoor play yard substrate is made up entirely of shredded tree mulch which gets very smelly similar to a busted septic system. When the dog owners come to pick up their dog, the new staff simply sprays dog perfume on your dog and blow drys the dogs off so the customers have no idea that there dog had been living in less than favorable conditions.
