CUT THROAT. If you plan to never ever ever have an unexpected accident or emergency in your life then this is the place for you! I and many others on the hand were not so lucky. My Daily Choice is Home of the 0 chances. I understand being late or rude to customers etc. no call, no show. Normal things that could get you fired but if your child gets sick or you need to get surgery, were in a car accident.. don’t even bother showing up for work because they will send you to HR with a termation letter that says something completely off the wall and fire you. I read reviews for everything and anything. So I’m always skeptical when I see someone super angry. But this is the honest truth and if you are hired there, it may not happen to you but 100% it will happen to someone you know or sit next to. Me personally, it was very stressful walking on eggshells every shift when you show up, do your job and a good job at that and still have to be in fear of losing your job. I turned down a few good opportunies for this one and so did a few people in my training group. If that’s you, and you have to make a choice between one/a few job/jobs and My daily Choice. DON’T. My Daily Choice is the worst choice you could ever make. And that my friend is a locked in gaurantee. Good luck!! And if they do burn you please write your review/story here.

Pros

Benefits were good, except for 2022 open enrollment and when they attempted to downgrade the benefits afterwards and require all their employees to pay more of the premium. Prior year was good. Team work was efficient with wonderful people while they were employed there. Everyone I worked with was always upbeat and positive. Most of the time laid-back culture (even remote) and low-stress environment. The team always handled stressful moments with humor and patience. Gave their employees newer hardware to use, software however (see cons below), Generous PTO, holidays were good, free Turkey at Thanksgiving.

Cons

The worst communication skills I have ever worked in specific to the CEOs. Everything was last minute, fly off the seat of your pants and constantly questioned. CEO (Josh) makes last-minute reactive decisions and consistently does not listen to the people he hires. Thinks he knows it all because he made a webpage in 1999. Does not respect family time with his employees nor his employees time after standard working hours. Expects you to be available like you're a genie in a bottle. Cares more for himself and his ego than is employees and their ideas and growth. CEO (Jenna) also thinks she knows more than everyone around and makes no mistakes. I was witness either a mass exudes and/or firing when Jenna took over for an intern period. Motivates like a drill sergeant and gives off a vibe you are to believe but with this strange underlying lack of transparency. CEOs tend to mistrust remote workers and negatively talk about them behind their backs. Expect to pay for your own licenses to software you use to build their business. Salary is about 30% below market value. Employees are very underpaid for the CEOs expectations of their availability. Phone calls and text messages at 11PM or 2AM should not be happening unless you are being compensated for the lunacy. Most of the upbeat, humorous and patient people left the company in the last 9 months (2021/2022) either by choice or while Jenna was in power by firing squad. I can NOT recommend working here.
