- If you can avoid interacting with the CEO you'll be fine. However, if you're in sales it will be a common occurrence and you're dealing with a textbook narcissist. Despite his sales methodologies still stuck in pre-2000 he will take a position of subject matter expert. Have fun being a part of his videos; he constantly is having himself videoed to create content. Wants so bad to be influential.
- Unrealistic goals that are based on what the CEO hopes we'll do. Not data driven.
- Failure to staff appropriately and/or delegate. There is a massive logjam at Sr. Leadership. So many simple tasks remain their hands, that just shouldn't.
- They don't hire you to bring in your experience. They bring you in to reinforce their current (backwards) standards. Don't bring ideas or innovation.
