Pros

Cool people to work with. That’s pretty much it.

Cons

Glorified box pushers. Repeat offenders of unethical (if not worse) business practices; zero consequences or accountability for said offenders. Blatant favoritism displayed, underperformers get rewarded but do little if anything to move the needle. Zero commitment to a strategic roadmap, macro priorities change quarterly (if not more frequently), and regardless of whatever strategy du jour is handed down, there’s ZERO forethought or guidance on tactical execution. Company still functions like a start-up, hindering any ability to move beyond their current plateau. Frequent lip service and occasionally flat out deception from mgmt. No loyalty. In short - there is some potential there, but numerous significant gaps. Currently executive leadership is far too myopic in their thinking. Just too much immaturity and too little business insight/acumen for them to reach the next level of growth.

Thank you for your review. Even though I am incredibly disappointed to hear much of it - I appreciate your candid feedback. We’ve experienced a huge amount of growth over the past few years, and that growth has been fueled by all of the amazingly talented people who work for us, and live our core values every single day. That said, if you’ve witnessed any unethical behavior please email our HR team or you can email me directly to discuss. We are constantly trying to improve, (hence Constant Improvement being one of our core values!), and any and all unethical behavior will not be tolerated. I have worked very hard to ensure Myriad is an ethical company that I’m proud to put my name behind, and I give you my word that any action to the contrary will be handled swiftly and appropriately. Lastly, I would like to say that I know we’re not perfect, but we are working every single day to make Myriad the best company it can be. I want everyone that works here to feel respected, trusted and proud to come to work every day. We have exciting company goals that can only be achieved by every single one of us working together, living our core values, and believing in our mission. I’m saddened that you feel your time at Myriad did not reflect that. Again, I appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. I wish you the absolute best.

Pros

Free Cereal, and snacks...casual environment and great location...this will all get old very soon.

Cons

Unrealistic Commision Plan 1st month your revenue goal is $15k and at month 6 your Gross Profit is $20k...seriously????!!!! CEO is an Absentee/remote Employee Incredible amount of favoritism to a select few sales people who inherit top accounts while a despondent majority (of equal or greater talent) are left to a list of leads and cold calls. 4-5 sales executives account for 70% of business. Sales Assistants earn more than most sales executives Upper Management shouldn't be googled After 1 year your salary drops to $36k Employees were encourage to provide positive feed back on Glassdoors

Thank you for your candid feedback. We work hard to create an environment in which every member of our team has a phenomenal experience, and it's personally very disappointing when we fall short of that goal. As a fast growing company, our successes have also come with some growing pains. I welcome the opportunity to understand and learn from those pain points, and team feedback (formal and informal) is an integral part of that process. We are taking your feedback to heart, and will use it as we continue to evaluate our monthly and quarterly targets for the sales team, in particular. Please feel free to reach out to me directly via email or phone if you’d like to set up a time to talk further about your experience. Wishing you the greatest of success in your future endeavors. My best, Andy Fisher Founder & CEO

Pros

Great snacks, flexibility, overall healthy work/life balance, a great CEO, amazing colleagues

Cons

Losing its way from what made it an amazing place to work. CEO was absentee in the midst of change, which caused morale to take a hit across the board. Now that he's back, I hope he restores it by opening his eyes to what's going on for the employees. I didn't dare write a review here until after I left. There is a common fear of speaking up despite the open door policy. Depending on your manager, you may be made to feel unimportant while others are clearly put on a pedestal. Some managers fail to recognize and foster talent and empower their employees, which is the opposite of what a leader does. Ideas have been good, but delivery, communication and people skills are what make smart people good managers. Some managers here just have the smart people side.
