Pros

Exciting jobs, you'll meet many interesting people through your job. Producing TV documentary is always exciting and fun.

Cons

Long working hours is almost a tradition of the company. Paid sick leave and maternity leave are available though.

Pros

Working in news, you get to do exciting work, have high profile access and travel from time-to-time. Colleagues are all really nice and have good intentions.

Cons

As an "overseas hire" (ie hired outside of Japan), you are given almost zero opportunities for training and progression. Salaries can be OK or they can be low, but vary, and can be decided arbitrarily depending on the hiring manager and the candidate.
