Pros
Great for getting out of the office and on the road, away from your family. Some really great people worked there, lured in by lies about their compensation, benefits, culture, environment, and overall company health.
Cons
The worst company I have ever worked for. Here's why: 1. Recruited to work at NTT Training with big promises - but in reality this is a backwards run company, lacking sufficient resources and lacking intelligent upper-management decision makers to run correctly. 2. Terrible and extremely expensive health care plan. The company forces your participation in their 401k program due to lack of interest. HR is outsourced and couldn't care less about you. 3. You sell training. The training is substandard and overpriced. Even the instructors complain about the lack of content updates to their materials and slides. 4. Once again, you sell training. Some of this training is supported by equipment shipped to the client. Clients frequently complain that the equipment is not working, dated, dirty, old, and not relevant to today's workforce. 5. You commission rate is grossly overstated when you are hired. Expect 3% paid a month after your sold classes are taught. So, you have to sell $100,000 in training for a given month in order to earn $3,000 (before taxes). 6. Turnover is extremely high. I wonder why? 7. President manages with feelings, not facts. Recipe for disaster? Hurt his feelings and he will fire you, despite telling the company "don't be afraid to challenge and break the rules..." 8. Unhappy office crew of really nice people - dissatisfied with the workload, pay rate, lack of appreciation, sickly work culture, etc. 9. Website truly sucks and lack of marketing / marketing materials places this company back in the 1980's.
