Pros

1.Working with some coworkers who you do really care about 2.Local business started by a creative woman 3.Employment opportunity

Cons

1.Expectations are too high for little compensation. They think $10 an hour and bonuses can be a lot but everyday you put a lot of energy for customers and that is draining. 2.Upper management “write up” associate for every thing, even if you are calling out sick. They think you are lying or say “it is all in your head” that you are sick. 3.They expect you to participate in their chat room 24/7 (time consuming) and use up all your data (without being reimbursed.) 4.Upper management is so nosy they need to know every detail about your life. They have managers snitching on associates to upper management. 5.Upper management is childish,if you did something bad, they would treat you like a child or ignore your texts. 6.Being a store manager does not look like it is worth it! They work so many hours and are expected to sacrifice a lot of their personal life to this company with little compensation/salary. They usually work 6 days a week and mostly 9 hours (without any time for breaks.) 7.There is nowhere to move up because even when you do move up in the company, they physically and mentally drain you for every penny you are worth (with little compensation/salary.) 8.They do not allow retail associates to become soap makers even though it is the same company. 9.Turn over of associates is high even though they deny it. 10.Late closing hours, some associates are 17 and they close the store at 11pm-12am. 11.They keep associates who do not follow the Nectar “Values” but “let go” those who can't make the sales number or don’t “trust" management. 12.They are deceiving and will try to brainwash you into thinking that you will be promoted. 13.Upper management is FAKE. They want to have things their way so they say things you want to hear. 14.They only tell you your schedule for the week 2 days before you start the week. And they tell you there’s a mandatory company meeting only a few days ahead. There is a lot of 1x1 meetings too. 15.Employment process takes along time, even after you have been selected and hired, you do not start right away. It can take a few weeks to even start training. WASTE OF TIME. 16.Upper management run by hypocrites, controlling, bossy and self-centered people 17.They push you to sell and if you don’t sell they think you don’t care.

Pros

-Free soap -Good experience to put on a resume when looking for another job -Met some decent people -Paid lunches

Cons

The company used to be great but has been going down the sink hole fast. Stores have closed, the entire store management team quit and the culture is at an all time low. We were all promised to move into a new factory...for the past 2 years and due to that money drain no one has been able to get a raise, we all received reviews saying "we don't take responsibility for our roles" and everyone has quit. That is not an exaggeration. Store managers, all of them, quit. Production managers, all of them, quit. Warehouse managers, all of them quit or stepped down. Customer service, we have gone through 3 of them since November because they keep quitting. There aren't job postings because the company is growing, they are here because people keep quitting. The CEO is a joke. Has no clue how to manage people. He lies and tells people one thing and then goes and does the complete opposite. Everyone knows its his poor budgeting that resulted in production not getting their benefits. They planned it on a Friday when none of them came in on purpose to avoid having them sign up to save money. He hires you for one thing and then you have to do a completely different job. And when you try to talk to him about it, he denies it so much. I had seen him do this before and took his side, and now I see that he really is the problem. For example he may hire you for "life Coach" but he really wants you to be a store manager. Just nonsense like that. I was told we had a great team, were opening stores like crazy and I excited for the future. Now I realize we have a terrible team, are closing stores, and excited for a future somewhere else.
