      Pros

      Good benefits, excellent culture, great team work, regular social activities, good employee morale, innovative. CEO had regular breakfast meetings with all levels of employees to get a good feel of how things were going.

      Cons

      Unfortunately got acquired by IBM and things were never the same again. Too much red tape resulted. Forced to migrate to bloated processes and very dated systems.

      Pros

      Great place to work, people were fair, you were well treated and the work was fun. The product was very good and the team was very well organized and managed. The company culture was excellent and if I did not have to relocate, I would not have left Netezza. I'm certain that in a couple of years, with the market recovery, the stock will do very well.

      Cons

      Long hours, some people were "special" but thankfully they left. The sales team tended to be a little less technical than I would have liked and some times they ended up making meaningless commitments.
