Pros

There were other businesses in the same building so you could communicate with them.

Cons

This business and the people running it are a joke. Its no wonder they had to sell out to a different company and its no wonder they haven't had a new client in over six months. The training they provide is a joke.

Network Medics Response

We appreciate all feedback from our employees, but do ask that it be provided in a professional and respectful manner. While it is true that Network Medics was acquired in 2018, it is neither true that we "sold out" because we were failing nor that we haven't brought on new clients in recent months. We also didn't have an employee in an account management or similar role that had been with us for a year or more leave in 2019. What is true is that we're ramping up for a very exciting expansion in Minneapolis and we have the highest standards for the people who help us do that.

Pros

Network Medics is an outstanding place to work with a definite focus on creating a loose and relaxed culture. Over my many years of service I was always given every opportunity to voice my opinions and had many ideas brought to life. As a parent I was extended the flexibility that is often necessary when raising young children and I saw that very same flexibility given to my co-workers with children too. The last and best piece was the amount of rope I was extended so long as my performance objectives were being reached. I experienced little to no micro management during my time.

Cons

The industry Network Medics is in changes in the blink of an eye and requires an endless resolve to reinvent the business. The other challenge is that the nature of the industry creates very stressful situations. Clients are 100% dependent on their technology working 100% of the time (whether or not they are following best practice recommendations for maintenance and upgrades). As an employee you must be very adaptable whether you understand the changes or not and be prepared to manage high stress situations and often unrealistic expectations. All jobs have cons or else you wouldn't get paid to work. At Network Medics the grass was pretty darn green right under my feet!
