Pros

Easy Job once you know what you are doing. Paid birthday off.

Cons

Minimum wage, you can do the same job and get paid double the money from other companies. Interview was so shady, I wasn’t sure if I was away to be pitched a MLM. Luckily I read online what the job is because they won’t tell you during interview. The training was an absolute joke. I am actually appalled at the lack of training relevant to the job role. Expect training on what fire extinguisher to use in a care home……(which was tested may I add) I’m not sure how that’s helpful doing outbound calls from home? You aren’t able to view the systems or even hear a call before they send you live despite all calls “being recorded for training and quality purposes” Your whole 5 days training is a power point being read to you about the company values. Once they send you live the support is minimal. Don’t expect to get a response from a TL.

Pros

- working from home - literally nothing else.

Cons

- the CEO’s values of “novacroft cares” are a facade. - only team managers get equipment to work with but it isn’t even worth the postage to send it out. You’ll spend more time waiting for it to log you in than you would working. - progression but only if your face fits. If you do get progressed you’ll then get it taken off you without any notice. - the support of CEO, COO and other senior management depends on what they need from you. - you’d be lucky to get a liveable wage even in management. In years there’s been one pay raise that had to be fought for and it wasn’t even a suitable adjustment for the cost of living. - ever changing policies and processes. - micromanagement from operations managers. No trust for you to do your own work. Have to justify everything. You’re not a team manager you’re a lackey. - the training team are useless and won’t even follow their own rules. - constant rifts between departments. There’s no teamwork or communication. - no respect or understanding for any kind of health whether physical or mental. All about discipline and sticking to management. Sometimes people need a human not a process thrown at them.

Pros

Great interior and decent canteen Pleasant and helpful training during first week, however it isn't enough for most people Easy to get there, they recruit people without experience

Cons

Very difficult call centre Lack of training on the role Low hourly rate Very difficult customers on the phone Rude management in call centre Shifts change without notice Pressured atmosphere at work, even going to the loo during your shift brings your stats down
