      Great Science can be Done Elsewhere

      Pros

      Decent Pension & Benefit Plan 80% coverage on most things, might get published if your lucky

      Cons

      Unrealistic deadlines, low pay for the amount of work given, no recognition for hard work done, company waste tax payers money on equipment and other items they plan on never using, unorganized and no space but keep hiring people

      A Waste of Tax Payers Money!

      Pros

      - Good benefits and semi-decent pay for a non-profit - There is a decent amount of good co-workers there

      Cons

      - Management is degrading to its workers - No growth - Waste hundreds of thousands of dollars to make sure they get more money from the government each year - HR does not protect its workers from complaints - Friends of management do no wrong or work - Probation periods are abused and workers are sometimes let go within the 3 month period for false accusations - Pay freezes only happen to low level workers and never management, they change titles to get by the law

      Corporate Culture with a terrible stack.

      Pros

      Good pay, benefits and free coffee.

      Cons

      Bad tech stack (drupal6), leadership and on-boarding process were non-existent. Hiring process was not thorough enough. I was told it was a 35 hour work week, but its clear that you were expected to work longer hours without being paid overtime.
