      A mixed expriences

      Pros

      Great colleagues, some of the principal consultants were excellent. Varied work. Reasonable work/life balance. Great partnerships with senior technology companies. Friendly and intelligent senior management. Respectful working environment. Strong commitment to training and development. Long history.

      Cons

      Trying to be all things to all people without the necessary resources. High turnover amongst junior staff. At the time, strategic direction was questionable. Overlapping roles and responsibilities sometimes engendering conflict. Lack of strong management which resulted in some underperforming middle managers.

      Place to work to get industry experiences or just a stable career

      Pros

      A good place to kick off your career. Working alongside great people. Flexible working conditions. Stable career if you do not mind the lack of career development and the pay.

      Cons

      Lack of individual staff development in mid-career. Culture has been deteriorating over the past few years, becoming top head management. The focus has been shifting to profitability over staff wellbeing, not standing up for the employees. Salary below average, no pay raise for several years at times. Traditional project delivery, lack the courage to innovate, often under-resourced and overworked.

      Great people but lack of direction

      Pros

      Object had a great team with some really dedicated, talented IT professionals, many of which have gone on to do some really great things. There was a strong culture of technical excellence and we built some great solutions for our clients.

      Cons

      Leadership was tied to traditional ideas about how to deliver projects. Sales team was often misaligned with delivery teams which meant that delivery teams were under schedule / cost pressure before projects even started.
