Pros

There were lots of pros but I think they may be pretty much all gone.

Cons

Drastic change of management. I left as the company was being restructured. Insurity - owning company - were changing the management structure and company structure of all their acquired companies. As I left there was too much work for too few staff in London office. I have since heard that moral is very low and London management have all left due to work life balance problems. Everything now managed through Canada. It was a good company but who knows if it will survive this. Standards have fallen drastically in how they treat people.

Pros

Strong product, High-tech, friendly employee, good potential to grow.Flexible working hours, close to metro. Good for internship.

Cons

Poor and rude technical managers, I have 20 years experience in software development around the world , I never seen middle managers like them. They abused and insulted people, specially new employees and Juniors. There are lots of experienced people there that they worked in Oceanwide for more than 12 years, first I thought it's a good company that they stayed there for a long time, but the main reason is that they never experienced another companies. One of the managers even has not technical knowledge and she always tried to say to people that you don't know anything and if you as new employee ask a question from she will say that you should study. But, because of the mafia and political rules there , she has the top level management position. Mitchell always says to new employees that if you are here it means that you are smart but Oceanwide managers are not enough smarts to keep their employees.

Pros

Really just their product and recent growth after they got acquired. There are many job opportunities since the product sells well but it is still unstable and under development. But employee turnover is low.

Cons

Too many cons to the point they are outnumbering the pros. Very poor management whether when it comes managing people, or the management experience implementing enterprise software. Product evolved fast in the last 6 years or so but management didn't. Some managers lack solid soft skills which is ironic. Some managers abuse authority and some just don't care. They don't listen to suggestions or show appreciation for good work. Expect growing workload but no compensation or benefits. Workload is constantly increasing but some in management don't have the knowledge to cope with that to even it out between team members. No process, it's chaos!!! The company culture is really cheap. For example, they don't fix what's broken in the office, they don't care if your career aspirations are inline with the opportunities at hand, don't compensate for the enormous workload. Employees turn over is extremely low. People leave fast. Senior management apologize for some management but make no remarkable effort to groom them.
