      Beware: Seriously!

      Pros

      Interesting work, lovely colleagues, good clients. Chance to expand skills.

      Cons

      I am not a person that generally leaves reviews of any kind anywhere however negative my experience. However, I do feel it is right to warn anyone thinking of working for Cursim (the consultancy side of the business) that they should think long and hard. I would suggest when attending an interview when asked if you have any questions simply ask ‘how many people have left without a job to go to in the last 6 months - whether recruited by the current Head or not.’

      Pros

      a. Employee to employee relationships are great, 90% of the people are awesome to talk to and work with b. Management at least gives us the perception that they're listening to our suggestions and gripes

      Cons

      a. Management is fractured, stubborn and needs to take a step back. b. Management needs to do a better job of keeping talent. There has been some talent through the door that could have really turned things around but isn't here anymore. c. Compensation is abysmal. d. Our company teeters on a single reseller contract with a single software company - if it were ever to collapse like one did in the US last year, we would all be out of work immediately.

      Pros

      job content was wide and varied, with potential for personal development if you are a self starter and prepared to take on study in your own time. Salary was reasonable. Colleagues were friendly and sociable.

      Cons

      Management from the top down is a little lacking. Terms and conditions of contract are changed ad hox, with no consultation period - this includes the removal of flexible working which was part of original job offer.
