Cons
often, it was a toxic work culture: a competitive and high school-like environment of women bullying each other (one women in particular perpetuated the bulk of this) and throwing each other under the bus, some less than desirable and overly entitled clientele; chaos and drama regularly occurring between two founders (i mean yelling at each other on the street outside type drama) especially with their different ideologies and differing ideas for the growth of the company. also, they tried to have employees take sides against each other as they competed to be heard and valued... think that says it all. the company was relatively new when all of this was occurring and i believe one of the founders has since left (the one who'd say egregiously negative/non-PC things about employees behind their backs). the other founder tried really hard - sometimes too hard - to be liked and valued. she cares, it just didn't always come off well as she was trying to pursue her dream and make the brand relevant in a new market. i truly hope the founders have found a better way of connecting because the company has such great potential - most of the employees are kind at heart - and they do seek to create a better world through nontoxic products and wellness. at the end of the day though, they cater to wealthy people who can afford it, most of whom are white women.
