Pros

You get a paycheck every 2 weeks.

Cons

Love nepotism? Miss high school? Then this is the place for you! Nothing screams 'professionalism' like a husband/wife team as part of senior leadership. Way to shut down the original Irvine office only to pay people in Austin half the salary.. great culture! CEO is beyond clueless/would register a negative number for emotional intelligence. Bunch of self-important tryhards who love hearing their own voices. These other reviews are nothing but marketing propaganda.

Exceptional Company Culture

Pros

1. This company excels in fostering an inclusive and welcoming culture. Regardless of background or role, every employee feels valued and appreciated. 2. The right balance between work and personal life can be challenging, but this company excels in ensuring its employees have a healthy work-life balance. 3. The leadership team is not only approachable but genuinely invested in the success and well-being of their employees. 4. With a focus on inclusivity, teamwork, and employee well-being, it creates an environment where individuals thrive both personally and professionally.

Cons

One challenge within the company is the absence of well-defined standard processes or workflows. The ambiguity in procedures can sometimes lead to confusion among employees, especially new hires. A more structured framework could streamline operations and provide a clearer roadmap for tasks and projects.

Pros

Whether you are stepping foot into Digital Marketing or have years of experience, Optimal, formerly Effective Spend, will cultivate a pathway for you to succeed and grow individually. You set clear goals and expectations with management and routinely check progress and troubleshoot any impasses. Everyone is super supportive and receptive to feedback and questions. There are no conflicts and everyone is easy going. It is a hybrid work model so you typical work remote two days a week, which I consider a benefit in itself due to the flexibility. Benefits are solid with 401k matching, unlimited PTO, company events/outings, paid holidays, healthcare, etc. even have an option for pet health insurance. The Culver City office is conveniently located near the platform and metro station for easy access. Parking is also assigned/provided. The team here is super self-motivated, collaborative and friendly. Definitely a great place to work!

Cons

Depending on where your parking is, it could be a 5-10 min walk. It's honestly negligible but rather be transparent than saying there are no cons.
