Homeowners/Board Members - This can vary from Associations but as with anyone trying to enforce rules, you might be viewed as the bad guy. Board Members can be difficult to work with and its up to you lead the Association and Meetings. You will experience some homeowners that will just let you have it and in my opinion this job does require you to be thick-skinned. Please note while this is a con when dealing with Associations it doesn't reflect on Optimum themselves.

Salary - Optimum is on the smaller side and there might be other companies who offer more money for the same job. While yes more money is always great, these other companies aren't set up with a streamlined process. Due to that, you will experience past employees trying to come back. I recommend being clear with your salary expectation upfront and showcase your worth to company.
