Pros

They were great up until I was hired on.

Cons

After only two weeks of being put into an amazing position, my fiancé passed away completely unexpectedly. I was notified by his nurse to come now and was told by Optomi that if I left that was it. They knew entirely of the situation and were kept aware of everything leading up to that point. I still left and hopped the next flight to be at his side, holding his hand as he passed that evening. Having to choose between my career and such a situation that occurred was the most devastating situation I've been in in such a long time. I was informed later after an entire week of trying to communicate with someone about returning to my position that there's nothing they could do because I walked out. I was left no choice from them and their entire response to the situation was cold and completely heartless. I am a firm believer in doing the right thing and I believe that I did. I was the only one there when he died, shame on you.

Pros

Nothing. The cold brew isn't even good and you are dismayed for actually using your lunch break. Training program is run like sorority rush - at a bad school. The leader inappropriately speaks to young women

Cons

I cannot say enough about how damaging this company is to one's mind. Every single morning upon arrival to work one of the bosses is going to make a remark about your appearance, that you look tired, about your attire, etc. Truly embarrassing behavior from a manager who is responsible for "leading" young women. (Which is pretty much all the company hires in sales by the way) The way I was personally spoken to by management is something I will never forget. The way upper management tried to cover up for it is what makes it disgusting. 10 people have quit from the Atlanta office since January 2024. When someone quits, leadership just says "we talked about it, and this is what we decided is best" to cover how poorly people are being treated. And if someone quit from another office location, they just don't say anything and try to hide it or act surprised when you find out. Oh - it's also not hybrid what so ever so don't be fooled. However, it is for upper management! They are never in the office for a full day, and rarely are in office 3 days a week. While they shame you for not staying an hour late and for taking lunch EVEN THOUGH your hours are 8-5. You're paid 8 hours a day. I understand "putting in the work" is. great tactic, but this isn't investment banking. This is IT staffing. The reason why you guys aren't making sales and picking up partners and driving revenue isn't because 22 year old girls aren't working until 7pm daily, it's because your company is toxic. Stop trying to blame it on new hires that the company numbers suck. If you're a producer, you are a puppet. You literally do all the work for your bosses while they take your commission, if you can make any. The commission structure is so hard to understand - and they make it this way so the recent grads they hire don't realize YOUR MANAGER gets all the money - and you get nothing for about 2 years probably - if you aren't chased out before then. So while your manager is at home you work your tail off to make them money and watch them go to a foreign country on the company trip celebrating YOUR hard work. Also, It feels like the actual hunger games having your metrics on the TV at all times. They changed the TV's from playing actual television (which was sports for the male gaze anyways) to having everyone's numbers on the TV. So, if you're having a bad week, don't worry! Only everyone will know and you will be reminded at all times. The management doesn't know how to act when you have a bad week, and they make it seem like the end of the world. If you ever have something personal going on and dare try to say it affected you, you'll be shamed for bringing your personal life into the office. The people who thrive here basically live for the company. The coworkers are each others friend group. You can't work here and have a life outside of it without again, being shamed by the company. Absolutely terrible place to work. Keep interviewing - something else will come I promise. ANY good review on here is written by management. It's been said before on here that we have witnessed management writing the reviews. They literally assign the job to someone to write good reviews. This company is a sweatshop for new grads and upper management is horrific. Get out while you can - you can find your 50k base salary anywhere else. Don't be fooled

Pros

Pros: -Lower Management cares about you, but they are spread too thin -Most producers are friendly. -Excellent training program. -The job itself isn't that bad. Its just the company. If you are interested in recruiting, do it somewhere else.

Cons

First of all, I have WATCHED management write fake reviews, so please take positive reviews with a grain of salt. I can say that if you are contracting with Optomi or were recruited by Optomi to work for one of their clients, you will probably have a positive experience. But do NOT work internally whatever you do. I am fortunate enough to say that one of the biggest mistakes in life was accepting a job at this company. I could write a 300-page book on how terrible this organization is. Cons: -Execs will take a commission out of your pocket and put it into their own every chance they get. -The company constantly promotes the idea that work is not supposed to be fun and that you are here to make money.......Why do you think we are here 4-5 days a week? Find a middle ground. -When you walk into the office every day, you can just feel how miserable everyone is, and the negative energy in the air. -Benefits are embarrassing and way too expensive. -Golden days are over, and everyone knows the company is going downhill. -Producer turnover rate is just under 50% within the first year. -No loyalty even to the best producers, one bad quarter, and you're gone. I made it longer than most, so please take this and other bad reviews seriously. They are the only honest reviews.
