I'd rate it zero, or in the minuses if I could.
I joined this absolute joke of a company in late 2022. I was a little hesitant but the salary jump and benefits swayed me. I should've listened to that inner voice though.
It's an absolute cesspool of nepotism and one of the worst places I've worked.
Don't let the recruiters sway you with their honeypot talks of excellent culture and it not being corporate etc. The culture is terrible, and I'm saying this having worked at some of the largest big-name corporates on the planet. The culture at Osiris SUCKS. You can really learn a thing or two from the culture at other companies, as opposed to using it as a method of getting candidates to join.
Leadership is nowhere and for the most part my requests for meetings etc were ignored. Jeesh, you want to pay a specialist R100k a month but you can't make time to discuss their concerns and suggestions. Your loss, and a definite area of improvement that needs looking at.
I worked there from late '22 till mid '24. Most of '24 was spent sitting around "looking busy" as there's was zero guidance, and, like mentioned, requests to discuss this with Management, as well as the Supergroup leadership team were completely ignored.
The team I worked in did very little to socially integrate new staff, and this includes the useless head of the division that made it clear that if you weren't in the inner circle, they didn't care. I mean, if a whole team and management goes to have lunch somewhere and by chance the three newest hires are all excluded, it's not exactly an inclusive culture, right. Well, this happened.
I mentioned Supergroup earlier. If the leadership there decides anything, Osiris has to jump. Mr CEO of Osiris, open your eyes. This is a problem. There's toxic, vindictive leadership that's ruining your business and reputation.
Don't let the lunch subsidy and (decent) benefits on offer sway you into possibly joining the organisation. It's a toxic pit of mismanagement where I've seen way too many careers come to die or get totally derailed, by no fault of the employee. If you're planning on joining the company, read the negative reviews here, and believe them. I wish I paid better attention to them as I gave up working at a great organisation to join Osiris for a better salary, but ended up regretting it deeply as I was met with disinterest, lack of leadership, and being completely underutilised. Fortunately I was headhunted and left but truly regret ever agreeing to join Osiris. If you're desperate for work, sure yes, but if you're gainfully employed somewhere, and this crapshoot of a company makes you an offer, please, for the love of all that is holy, run far far away. No amount of money will convince me to ever return.
All of the above made my leaving so sweet, and easy. Hand in laptop, and just leave. No regrets getting out of there when I did. One of the happiest days of my career was going down those dingy elevators for the last time.
Stay far far away from these clowns.
