Pros

Learned a lot about SaaS, initially had a great vision and staff. But truly has lost it way after series b funding and putting people in a position of power who truly had no business being there. People who have never ran a SaaS product, and have not experience working in the industry of Plate IQ's target market.

Cons

Plate IQ was a great place until most of its internal structure changed, new management that thought they knew what they were doing completely pushed away people that had grown the company to what it was. Many new hires we evidently outside its original hardworking culture. It has shown a clear example of how nepotism from hiring managers and directors that all came from 2 places. Managers fail at training. I wouldn't be surprised if PIQ collapses in the next year. No diversity among staff.

Terrible C-Suite, DO NOT WORK HERE

Pros

- Good base, great co-workers

Cons

The cons for this place are too many to list out! I have 0 faith in the c-suite and upper management. No one on the sales team is happy, almost everyone is looking for new jobs, they have no added benefits to retain top talent, moral is low, teams don't work well cross functionally, no sense of culture or direction! This is by far the worst run company I have ever been a part of. Sales reps are blamed for the incompetencies of leadership and constantly threatened with job security. It's a toxic and stressful work environment. Multiple reps have had the rug pulled from under them for not performing on ramp. No warning or pip. Lead generation is non existent. AE's are expected to be full time BDR's with little no help from marketing or partnerships. Sink or Swim mentality here. DO NOT ACCEPT AN OFFER. CHURN IS VERY HIGH. They do not invest in their sales reps. Probably will never see a commission check here.

Pros

I came into the company with existing sales experience and learned a ton to bring my skills to the next level. I was able to learn the ins and outs of cold outreach, provide value in the full sales process, and develop relationships with both peers and customers. Previous management was very passionate about the product, the industries PIQ serves, and truly wanted to invest in their employees. However, all of this now a thing of the past.

Cons

Very similar to some of the recent negative reviews, new management was handed a gold mine and continue to flush this company down the drain. Culture is practically non-existent in recent times, be prepared to be treated like a number as opposed to a person. A majority of new sales hires both on the AE and SDR teams are set to fail. For AEs, small territories that are beyond tapped, losing out to competitors the company used to beat out 90% of the time, a product that at times doesn't work on live demos with prospects, passive-aggressive management, micro-management, and an untrustworthy comp. structure. A majority of the day-to day will be focused on cold outreach, rather than focusing on working deals due to the lack of support from the SDR and marketing teams. SDR leadership has also been beyond incompetent since the change and its shocking as to how they even have jobs. They know absolutely nothing about the differences in cold outreach amongst the industries PIQ serves, how to properly prospect, and lack any type of collaboration with the AE team. They're more focused about LinkedIn presence, pushing dial/email KPIs and tech stacks, as opposed to properly coaching their team to be successful.
