Pros

There used to be many pro's. Product looks good on the surface. With all the changes in the background, not sure how long that will last.

Cons

7 lay offs throughout 22/23 and 23/24 combined. UK went from 110 staff to 10 FTE in 12 months. Targets lowered by 50% to boost morale and retain sales figures. HR Manager that led layoffs promoted to Director and invited to Presidents cub (all inclusive paid for trip at a 5* resort)... Engineering staff in Eastern Europe laid off and replaced with outsourcing staff in Asia for half the price. Will easily discount to 50% of list price early in sales process due to competition in this space. I believe this to be well known publicly available information from various reviews including glass door, blind app, G2, linkedin, speaking with clients and linkedin posts.

Pros

The calibre of my colleagues was undeniably high and I got got to work with some inspirational and dedicated individuals who were masters of their craft.

Cons

Every week felt like being in an episode of the Squid Games. A new challenge with crazy metrics was launched and someone invariably disappeared at the end! Constant change of management and strategy creates an atmosphere where people are always on edge. Fistbumps and Backstabs is what you'll get, so watch out. This is an incredibly competitive space and the company is struggling to be profitable, as reflected in the recent layoffs at the start of the month. Consolidation of competitor solutions is only just beginning and Outreach's market share is declining as their core offer is being rapidly commoditised. It's a good product but not quite as groundbreaking or as innovative as the marketing would have you believe. But you could say that for many in the space I imagine.

Pros

The product worked well most of the time.

Cons

Toxic workplace culture. Promotions were not merit based at all, avoid like the plague if you're a high achiever. All the top talent has left. Compensation was also below industry average.
