PCE Investment Bankers is the premier Winter Park-based, FL investment bank located. You would be hard pressed to find more talented partner level decision making. Prime examples include: (1) crafting a strategy whereby withholding market compensation leads to cost savings associated with eliminating, either directly or indirectly, all partners and bankers who generated income; (2) pre-eminent capital expenditure decisions, including purchasing and retrofitting a large building to fund staff expansion in the face of a downward trending market, the purchase of an extremely impressive conference room table made out of a tree that has holes in it, and renting space in downtown Tampa that is utilized by their staff of 1; (3) leading edge marketing strategy whereby substantial dollars are spent marketing to a downstream market (private equity) that is reliant on the investment banking profession; and (4) requiring all employees, even the most junior analyst, to sign documentation that substantial restricts their ability to work at any firm that can ever be considered to compete (even if you just return to the company you worked at before or if you have never worked in any other industry) thereby maintaining a strong position in the human capital market; to name a few. The partners have created a unique environment whereby employees tend to stay for a long period of time, primarily due to contractual obligation or because the pay far exceeds their tangible contributions.
