Should be called impossible

Pros

Good coffee machine, nice building

Cons

POSSIBLE is really just one big wasted opportunity. It could be real success within the network due to the type of clients it has on its roster but due to a multitude of problems it will never even get close to reaching its potential. A good agency isn't built on great individuals, its built on great teams which is something that POSSIBLE lacks. Everyone works for themselves and refuses to muck in and help anyone regardless of the effect this will have on the business. Many of the employees are ultimately short sighted and fail to see the bigger picture. This, combined with a staff attrition rate verging on a joke makes getting anything done in any department almost IMpossible. On an individual level, the lack of strategic direction for the business, non existent induction process and the feeling that you are a worthless number really drags you down and this can be seen on many people's faces leading to a fairly down beat atmosphere more akin to a office trading estate rather than a funky London agency. In short, the agency could be brilliant but ultimately, is not even close to average. Big changes need to be made to make the agency a great but unfortunately not one of these things seems to be on anyone's radar.

Pros

Few - location & building

Cons

Lack of leadership. The majority of those in management roles lack management skills and sometimes communicate in a very juvenile way - like threatening to cut off internet for people who haven't filled in time sheets. Finance led organization is a negative - from locking away the morning cereal before working hours commence to avoid people having a meal at their desk when they 'should be working' - to freezing training budget permanently for teams but still quietly giving it to 'certain' groups or people that apparently are more valued. The favoritism in the workspace is horrendous. There are no clear guidelines for promotion or pay rises. Possible is the worst place I have worked in my entire career and one that I am embarrassed to have on my CV - the turn over is unbelievable. Only the talentless stay in this company, and that's part of the problem - how can any project be successful in an environment where people lack talent or motivation? People with real skills are driven out and replaced.

London - Does it work? No.

Pros

Forces you to learn how to grow, run projects and sort out problems independently (as management don't seem interested). Meet a lot of people that come (and then go). Free drinks on Thursdays, which normally fell on someone's leaving drinks. The US offices seem to have a good handle on projects, a plan and staff happiness (can't comment too much though). Makes the next job, at the next firm, seem fantastic.

Cons

Every waking moment. Management was unorganised at best. Lack of collective vision. Nothing worked, although that was the global strap line -Does it work? No team collaboration. Never looked after good talent people and actually treated people poorly. No training. No acknowledgment of good, hard work. Pay is way below most agencies in London.
