Cytiva/Pall has shafted their shop floor workers. People are going to be losing over £100 a week in wages due to a change of hours. Management couldn’t care less. They’ve been lying for months about the situation. If managers can laugh and joke just before telling their workers news that is devastating what does that tell you? They have offered a bribe with a bit of blackmail involved to get workers to sign a contract with the new hours. The temps were told about the situation, they were in the same situation but without being offered the bribe. Management wanted to tell the temps hoping some will be annoyed and leave. Peoples’ lives are being disrupted but management are getting new offices built for them. Management won’t admit it, they have lost customers. When Covid happened all they saw were dollar signs instead of looking after their customers. You can’t trust management. The company who owns Pall are facing a class action law suit, all they know is to lie to people. This is why they’re being sued. Hopefully their reputation will suffer as well.
