Pros
Small but friendly engineer and technician group. Down to ground style engineering. Get a lot hands on skills and valuable experience. People here don't talk much, they make it happen.
Cons
Technical level is low. Not typical OEM. Mainly doing integration, harness design, and system control. Almost 99.9% of the vehicle device design is from supplier, including body. Production capability is poor. Management style is special. As a small company, top manager doesn't even want to know whether engineers need help, all you have is deadlines and pressure, perhaps a rude conversation. "It's your problem, get it down." This EV company is owned by a foreign company major business on real estate in Dubai. No idea how long they will keep it. No matter how much you contribute to this company, if top manager doesn't trust you, you are wasting your time. Very unfair. When they hear you will leave, they ask you to stay longer, at the same time, you get a call from recruiter to look for people to fill in your position. I told the recruiter yes I'm that guy going to leave.
