Pros

Very professional organisation, investment focussed and benefit of partnership brings patience.

Cons

Swiss parent means that UK comparisons with peer asset managers culture not seen so relevant in terms of benefits and not great on diversity and inclusion. Flexible working not supported.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to see that our partnership culture resonated with you. Flexible working is now available to all our employees, thanks to arrangements that include flexible hours, part-time, annualised part-time, unpaid leave and working from home. In addition, our UK employees benefit from an access to pension, private medical & travel, life, critical illness, and income protection insurance. Employees also have access to a range of flexible benefits which include dental and health screenings. Diversity and inclusion are a priority for the Group as expressed through several initiatives (Women Sponsoring Platform, parental leaves, emergency childcare services and staff trainings). These aim to develop a diverse community of talent and provide career opportunities to a broader demographic. Best regards,

Pros

Company puts enormous time and effort into important social objectives such as ESG Environmental Social and Governance and incorporates this into investment policy. The company also thinks a lot about its own environmental footprint for instance.

Cons

Co should step back and think more about how ESG applies to its own business. would it satisfy its own esg investment criteria. the company reduces its carbon footprint through solar but then sends people back and forth btw geneva and london continuously by plane. many employees use the double headquarters to practice tax avoidance (often this is entirely legal) but this creates a massive distraction to day to day work. the record on women in management is also dismal (look at partnership)

Pros

Decent size company with quite a few talented people in a number of different areas.

Cons

Not an easy place for female employees. Some managers more comfortable working with women than others and it is clearly shown by the ill treatment. Consult GCN before taking a job there.
