Pros
Video Surveillance solution works, all big deals in Pivot 3 are Video Surveillance. Nothing else to add.
Cons
Do not choose to work here. The worst management team and structure I've ever had the misfortune to be part of. Pivot 3's culture is one of fear. If you dare to speak out with an idea that goes against the status quo then you are fired, pronto. If you your face does not fit, then you are out, pronto. There are so many AVP's, VP's & directors for such a small company. A company in 10 years which has yet to turn a profit. Think of the worst manager you've ever worked with, we've all had one from time to time. Now imagine a management structure where EVERY management position is filled with that worst manager. Not good. The HCI product is way behind competitive products from both a feature and price perspective. Forced to position a 'solution' with third party products to cover the HCI products lack of replication or snapshots. This makes the solution more complex and expensive plus you would not get any commission for including the 3rd party software. The only company where you are actively encouraged to sell on futures. Yes, that's right: sell on futures! That goes against the first rule of sales: sell what's on the truck. Every negative review on Glassdoor is true, the positive ones are the from senior management or employees who have been asked (in Pivot 3, that's TOLD) to complete a positive review. There is so much wrong with Pivot 3. The worst company I've ever had the misfortune to be associated with in a 26 year IT career. If you want to step back in time from a technology & management perspective, say around 10 years then Pivot 3 is the perfect place for you. Do not get me wrong, Pivot 3 is a great fit for a certain type of individual. If you have no morals, zero ethics and enjoy bullying, then you would fit in just fine. I'm currently working my exit plan, otherwise I'd be very fearful of the repercussions this review will have. Thank you for taking the time to read this, do not choose to work at Pivot 3.
