Pros

They did not lay off anyone due to covid.

Cons

I'm writing this lengthy review because before I joined, I looked at glassdoor and everyone was praising this company to the gods. Hence I made a decision to join this company. But later I realised the reviews were written under pressure by the management hence hold no credibility. To begin with my joining day, I was given a specific time to come to office and the person responsible for my induction(and I use the word 'induction' very loosely) did not show up until an hour later. The rest of the process wasnt planned at all. I had to go and ask what next after every small little thing. It was very chaotic and frustrating. The said person isnt qualified enough for the job given as proven by many incidents later. Poorly handled hirings, no people skills(which are basic for the job), poor performance in advocating for the better of the employees. If you are expecting you'd get any work regarding data science or data engineering(which would be promised during the interview process), youll be let down quite a bit. The projects lack maturity in terms of usecases and proposed solutions, inturn the work quality goes below subpar level. You'll be asked to work as full stack developer/UI developer/anything your JD does not specify and if you refused since clearly thats not the focus of your career, you'll be deemed as 'not an engineer'/'not willing/capable to keep up' altogether! The management here is very insecure. And they make sure that you are watched like a hawk. The WFH situation made it even worse so much so that even when it wasnt necessary people were made to work on weekends without any comp offs. In terms of effective project management, there arent any capable project managers or technical leads left in this organization, so there isnt any! Lastly what I have observed is that flattery and yesmanship will get you in goodbooks of the higher management, which translates to better money and better position in the organization. Others who dont participate in these things would be deemed as people not loyal to the organization.

One of the worst companies to work

Pros

You can talk to anyone in the company for anything work-related. A lot of the team members are very nice people.

Cons

I am writing this because this is where a lot of potential hires come to read about the company culture. When I joined only good reviews were there. After joining I understood that those reviews were forced and influenced by the ceo. Micromanagement done by the ceo, no freedom of work, thoughts or being. You are always being watched. He even installed a camera in the India office and the feed is viewed on his phone. Very negative culture. He is always yelling and screaming at every one. Has zero trust in his employees including the senior managers. Very insecure. Says "I am the ceo" at least 5 times a day. He plays politics, turns people against each other, behaves like he owns us. We don't have any such thing as work-life balance. He will randomly schedule calls late at night and weekends. He treats employees in India badly and treats employees in US with a lot of respect. He yells and screams a lot which is very demotivating. The work from home has just made everything very worse. They will hire you for something, eg- Data Science or Data Engineer and then give you random work on UI. Very misleading and can de rail your career. They don't have medical policy for employees. They overwork everyone and does not even provide medical insurance. They don't have any policy that is employee friendly.

Thank you for your inputs, we are constantly learning and developing our processes. Being a small company, CEO and all levels of employees connect and work together all the time. It is not micro management but better collaboration. Like all other companies, our offices have premises installed cameras and biometric access to employees for physical and data security reasons which are for employee, company and customer safety and interest. Pluto7 is a learning ground for many and employees are bound to reach great heights with such a strong foundation. We are happy that all our past employees have found their path and we wish them well.

Pros

Opportunity to work with new technologies. Developers are nice and fun to hang out with.

Cons

HR is very bad. Upper management (CEO) is fickle minded and changes policies constantly usually for the worse. Very high attrition rate, people leave the company even before completing one year of service. No catering provisions. claustrophobic work environment.
