Working for a CEO who insists on providing fraudulent data to the board of directors and the investors. Each time there was a board meeting, he would tell us to increase the number of opportunities that would close soon. Let me provide you with his definition of an opportunity is, if you made a call to a potential client that was an opportunity. He inflated numbers to make it appear we had several accounts coming on board. One thing I REFUSED to do was provide revenue protections for these opportunities, because the opportunities were so premature we never had that data.He insisted on having something to present to the investors and board members. When he didn't get this erroneous information to present to the investors the funding stopped and Bootworks was no longer. Honestly, it should have never existed. The CEO in my opinion is nothing more than a con, a grifter, liar and someone with no integrity. I don't know if this constitutes a criminal offense, but in my opinion it's unethical.
