People, Food, PTO. the usual things

An unsatisfactory downward spiral into bankruptcy as the result of failure to build quality products, pivot amid market conditions, dump ineffective leadership. Proof that people with venture capital can be duped into anything.

Pros

If you want to work for a "make believe" company this place is for you. The CEO has a "concept" service which is nothing more than that. After six months of trying to sell a service where transportation companies tender their freight to the Bootworkers (they never made deliveries because we NEVER got an account!!) to deliver to the retailers in mall locations in the Seattle area. After calling literally hundreds of transportation companies NOT one was interested! So come on board for the most disappointing sales experience ever!

Cons

Working for a CEO who insists on providing fraudulent data to the board of directors and the investors. Each time there was a board meeting, he would tell us to increase the number of opportunities that would close soon. Let me provide you with his definition of an opportunity is, if you made a call to a potential client that was an opportunity. He inflated numbers to make it appear we had several accounts coming on board. One thing I REFUSED to do was provide revenue protections for these opportunities, because the opportunities were so premature we never had that data.He insisted on having something to present to the investors and board members. When he didn't get this erroneous information to present to the investors the funding stopped and Bootworks was no longer. Honestly, it should have never existed. The CEO in my opinion is nothing more than a con, a grifter, liar and someone with no integrity. I don't know if this constitutes a criminal offense, but in my opinion it's unethical.
