A lot of interesting projects, not enough people, you can achieve anything you want.

Cons

Not always perfect organizational structure, it has been changed several times for the last 3 years.

Thank you for this feedback. It's awesome to hear you found your projects interesting and you felt empowered to set and achieve new goals. As with many scaling companies, organizational shifts is commonplace but hopefully, ones that yield more opportunities for driven employees, such as yourself, to take charge, make an impact, and learn new skills along the way which ultimately help propel your career. - Steph Garcia, SVP People

Pros

Varied tasks in my job. I get to learn new things. Friendly atmosphere. I rarely see office drama. You will be pushed to grow and get better. Surrounded by people who have done this stuff for a lot longer than me. I learn from them constantly.

Cons

Long hours & stress - but what can you do? The benefits outweigh the fact that we must stay late sometimes or pull a weekend session.

Pros

I do not have any positive things to say about Postmates, except for the fact that I was employed and paid on a regular schedule.

Cons

The company wastes money left and right. CEO loves to spend money like it's going out of style. Restock groceries for the office? Let's dogfood and pay a courier delivery + large tip for paying retail rate, instead of having a catering company do it at a much lower cost. On top of that, only have the couriers buy junk food for the office. Yum! Love me some diabetes. Training is very inconsistent and almost nonexistent. There is no consistency between one person and another's training styles or the messages they try to get through. There is no real formal policy on how to handle anything. Just know that if you're doing something that's been accepted as the norm, the CEO can just hop in the chat and change it just because a bad customer tweeted about it. We are told by the CEO to deactivate couriers for even the slightest error. If a courier is not on duty right on time for their shift, it's usually grounds for termination. If a courier is tweeted about in a negative way, no investigation is made - they are guilty as charged and immediately terminated. We are frequently emailed to take time out of our days off to help out with the workload because we aren't allowed head count. Time off requests are repeatedly denied, even when made in advance. Company culture does not exist. It's paid for by an outside branding agency and is only for show to other employees during Town Hall meetings. Couriers are treated like third-class citizens, and Customer Service even worse than that. Everyone who isn't in the real corporate team is treated as expendable and brain-dead. Initiatives never meet deadlines, keep getting pushed back, and then cancelled. Job reviews don't happen. The higher-ups in the company treat anyone below them like complete trash, and that trickles down. The managers and leads treat the rest of the team like crap, the full-timers treat the part-timers like crap, and the part-timers treat the couriers like crap.
