Powertek is a great company to work for

I worked on the NIEITS DOD project for a while and at one point it was recompeted and won by another company. The transisition period was very short and Powertek was quick to move a lot of us to other projects they have. I saw first hand how the management team went out of their way to help the employees that did not get picked up by the new company. Powertek helped them rewrite their resumes, gave them double the normal severence pay and paid for their health insurance for an extra month so they would not be without coverage while looking for another job. I have never heard of a company doing that for their employees, going the extra mile to take care of them. Powertek cares for their employees and they show it. It is unfortunate that some people have made disparaging comments here about the company and you can clearly tell they are from a few disgruntled employees by the personal and vindictive nature of their messages.
Cons
Non observed. This is a job and nothing is ever perfect, but Powertek has done nothing but make my work environment as good as I've ever had.
