Pros

One of the few reasons to work at prepass is the pay. For a call center they pay relatively well and they add bonuses for performance.

Cons

Working at prepass is a roller coaster of negative emotions because of the management. Even when you meet the standards set by them they still want you to perform better and pressure you by giving you disciplinary actions if you don’t perform beyond the expected. They work on a system of tiers. The tiers are a combination of number of calls and tasks completed on the call. The tiers divide in below expectations, meeting expectations, and then tier 1, tier 2, tier 3. I would understand if they gave a write up for being on below expectations multiple times, because clearly your not doing the job. However they pressure you even if you are hitting tier 1 or meeting expectations. And when I say pressure I mean the make you go talk to the person in charge of the numbers. Her name is Susan and she is a double face person that would anything in her power to get you fired if she doesn’t like you. She even said to me to stay on her good side at the beginning of my employment there, at the moment I didn’t what she meant by that, later I found out. The person in charged of the every department is Bill. He says that he is always available and his doors are open to discuss any issues, but in reality he would not keep confidentiality and would tell everything to Susan delegating all the information and the situation to her. So it feels that he is no help.

Pros

good coworkers. good working environment. tech stack is old but slowly improving.

Cons

salary is NOT competitive and not fair between engineering teams. company is profitable but management will not consider profit sharing or bonuses. the big boss at some point said "it doesn't matter what your paycheck says, it matters you do the right thing",

Pros

Coworkers are great, pay is good

Cons

In my time at PrePass turnover has gotten worse. The micromanaging that is done on the call center side of operations is atrocious. They treat workers like children, and many of the supervisors act like children themselves. They pick favorites and don’t want to help people who aren’t their ‘favorite.’ The company is so focused on policy and procedure that they don’t treat workers like actual human beings until it gets to a point of having to complain and have 1 on 1 meetings, Furthermore, there is NO advancement. The only job options you have in Utah are warehouse associate, call center agent, or team lead. Team lead positions hardly open up, so if you want to work on phones or in a warehouse for the entirety of your job - def work here!
