Pros
I have been at PRG for just over a month now, Prior to starting i really didn't know what to expect but it continues to deliver in both a fun and engaging working environment. Everyone iv'e met has been nothing but helpful, welcoming and truly genuine with their intentions.
Senior stakeholders are really proactive in the business and are not just involved in metrics and KPI measurements but the fun too and they want you to be as successful as they are which is refreshing.
After working for larger organisations in the past, going smaller can sometimes be a concern but honestly PRG have this nailed.
Some boxes that have already been ticked for me so far:
Working culture - ✅
Team / Employee , Trust & Autonomy - ✅
Transparency and openness to talk about progression and dare i say it money - ✅
Working flexibility - ✅
My last employeer, left me a little a jaded. PRG heard this, and without selling me a pipe dream or judging knew they could better this experience
Training & Development has been great, i have plenty of sales and tech experience but talking to someone about their livelihoods and how i can help support that is completely new .
Meg & Lee along with Tracey have done an amazing job of orchestrating a really in-depth training plan aligning with people of all backgrounds and experience to help shape the future of PRG and there offerings.
However Learning & Development holds such a staple in PRG that this doesn't stop after the first few weeks, its's clearly respected and integrated within everyone across the business.
Although i have enjoyed my time to date working at PRG, i have enjoyed something even more. Something most wont think when going into the recruitment industry the ability to commit myself and time to my Children & Partner.
Since starting, ive been able to attend School Drop off's, Pickups, School events, First Sports days and the odd walk and life admin chore while on lunch, Early evening music concerts etc all without fear of judgement for needing to work remotely.
All of this has made me Happier, something you cant put a price tag on, i am not only physically present but mentally.
So Yes i am still early into a new job at a new company, but no this isn't my first rodeo. First impressions count and this place gets it right!
So if like me you fancy a bit or a change in a big way and scared about the leap DONT BE.....
I have never been in recruitment before, but this opportunity came up to do something i love which is connecting with people.
at first i really didn't know what to expect
Cons
Nothing to mention here at tall
